Local Tastes Festıval

The island square is waiting for you to try the tastes of Bozcaada!

The festival is organized by the Bozcaada Tourism Operators Association (BOZTİD). At this annual festival, residents of Bozcaada open stands to offer visitors unique tastes within the castle! Visitors get the opportunity to taste these flavors on payment of a small fee. In addition to the Greek-Turkish mixed flavors, Rabbit Stew (hasenpfeffer), Island Style Grape Leaf Stuffed with Meat, Plate Mantı; and for the dessert lovers, do not miss tasting of the magnificent tidbit sweet, Island Baklava with Walnut, and Mafiş! In addition, the restaurants and taverns offer appetizers with local sweets special for the festival.

In addition to tastings, there have been many other activities at the festival both for adults and children for 3 days. In this festival, both your soul and your stomach will feast . By the way… Do not forget to swim in cool waters of the island while you there!
