Kıte Festıval

In the festival, where adults have fun as well as the children by giving tireless effort on keeping their kites on the air, the kites different from each other produce various colorful images in the sky via taking Bozcaada's wind behind. The festival, which takes place in many different locations in Turkey every single year, is held with the participation of several people between June 14 and 15.

At the festival, kites compete in two different categories. Medals and awards are granted to the top three kites in the highest and as well as the most airborne kites.
