Camel Wrestling Festival

The camel wrestling festival is traditionally held on the 2nd week of January every year, in Bayramiç. At this festival, citizens race their camels into wrestling to let them compete on the basis of a payment of small fee. The owners of the winning camels are given trophies after a cutthroat wrestling battle among the camels.
