Bozcaada Cultural, Art and Vıntage Festıval

With the traditional Bozcaada Cultural, Art and Vintage Festival, the Bozcaada Municipality offers a pleasant activity to the district residents. Every year, the festival begins with the vintage in the vineyards of the wine factories that have become the symbol of the festival. As it was in the past, the festival visitors and farmers go to the vineyards with donkeys, horses and whirls to harvest their grapes; then, after the harvest is made, they gather at the island square. This event attracts great interest from the public so that hundreds of tourists stream into this festival in order to participate in this part of the festival. Within the scope of the festival, a miss grape is also selected among the young girls of the island.

The wines made from the highest quality grapes in the vineyards of the island for a year are presented to the visitors at the vintage festival. The festival, which lasts for 3 days, organizes a signature day with the participation of famous writers as well as various sports and art events; the panels and interviews are also held grapes, viticulture and winemaking.
