Chunuk Bair (Conkbayırı) Atatürk Victory Monument

Chunuk Bair is the name of the hillside which starts at the Chunuk Hill, continues in the southwest direction and ends at Kemal Stream which is located in the north of Düztepe. The highest point in the north of the Chunuk Bair is called Chunuk Hill. Chunuk Bair Ataturk Victory Statue is made of bronze and is the newest memorial built on Chunuk Bair. Chunuk Bair Ataturk Victory Monument is built by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in memory of the Chunuk Bair battle which was led by Anafartalar Group commander colonel Mustafa Kemal on 10 August 1915. It is been restored in 2015 by the field administration.
