Adatepe Village

The Adatepe Village, which is a fairy-tale village nearby the sea in the middle of the Ida Mountains and next to the Zeus Altar, will fascinate you with its texture. The characteristic of the village is that it goes back to the historic Trojans and their enormous houses with garden and stone.
Protected as an archeological area, there are about 250 buildings in the village registered to the Council of Monuments. The Adatepe Village, which we can visit even to see these stone houses, lives within mountainside of the Ida Mountains and covered with a texture of full of lush green olive gardens. While the village offers a spectacular visual feast in its own right, you may dine in the shade of 100-year-old and 300-year-old buttonwood trees at the entrance of the village. Do not leave the village without eating pancakes with vegetables, and without drinking black mulberry juice and coffee with date. If you are going to visit the village from the hillside of the Küçükkuyu Beach, you should definitely take your camera with you.
